Why veterinary nutritional counseling?
It's always safest to make nutritional changes with the guidance of a veterinary nutritionist.
Us, veterinary nutritionists, put in years studying veterinary medicine and then dive deeper to specialize in Nutrition for dogs and cats.
This journey gives us a really good understanding of canine and feline physiology, and of the diseases pets could face in the future. This medical knowledge is essential when we're dealing with serious illnesses.
Why online consultations?
When it comes to pet nutrition, we need to really understand your furry friend's journey, which can sometimes mean looking back over years of their little lives. It can take a long time, so, online sessions give us the chance to take our time and chat about each case thoroughly.
Why a preliminary VET health check?
When it comes to unwell pets and growing animals (puppies or kittens), it's necessary that you visit your local veterinarian for a physical exam, BEFORE our nutritional online appointment.
The form I need your local vet to fill in is: Vet-Health check form
IMPORTANT:
When a home-made diet is required, I need the following BLOOD TESTS done BEFORE starting the new diet. I am sorry, but without this info I cannot formulate any home made diet.
These blood tests need to include, at least: CBC + biochemistry (with proteins, glucose, renal and liver values).
Why these fees?
Note that the fees you pay aren't just for the time we chat, but also for all the behind-the-scenes work I put into each case.
Why should YOU fill in the Nutrition History form?
Pets' nutritional cases can certainly take a bit of detective work. I frequently have to carefully evaluate years of history, various blood tests and medical reports.
Therefore, your help in providing this information before our appointment allows me to tailor our meeting, ensuring we maximize every moment of our session.
You will receive this form by email once you have booked the session.

How can we join forces?
Primarily, my aim is to focus mainly on nutrition, but as we're all well aware, numerous health conditions are closely tied to dietary habits. So, there may be times when I'll need the patient to undergo certain tests (e.g. blood tests) before I can continue working on their diet.
I typically keep in touch with my patient's primary vets by email. However, when the situation calls for it, we can definitely set up a virtual meeting.
How do you refer a patient?
Given that most of my sessions are held online, for unwell animals, and for puppies/kittens (growing animals), I require a initial veterinary physical examination. This is where your expertise comes into play.
After you've conducted this initial physical exam, kindly fill in this online form:

Thank you note.
While times are evolving, and we now have more ways to feed our pets than ever before, there remains some skepticism surrounding natural veterinary nutrition.
Therefore, by teaming up, you're not only broadening the opportunities to enhance your patients' quality of life, but you're also helping us, your fellow veterinary nutritionist colleagues, in carving out the recognition we deserve in the veterinary world.
Thank you.
